The world of ballet opens its doors to enthusiasts with an exciting workshop hosted by Marty Co., featuring Takahiro Kusukami, a principal dancer with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. On July 28th, participants will have the invaluable opportunity to learn from a dancer with a wealth of experience and exceptional teaching abilities. This special event not only offers attendees insights into technique and beauty in ballet but also a chance to experience personal growth through movement.

Workshop Details


Join us at the Geino Kaden Sha B2 Studio, located at 6-12-30 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0023. The full schedule of classes includes:
  • - 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Classical Lesson
  • - 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Pointe Class
  • - 12:35 PM - 12:50 PM: Private Lesson (limited to one participant with prior reservation)

This unique workshop will allow participants to deepen their understanding and appreciation for ballet's art. Participants will learn not just through instruction but also by engaging with artists who lead a life dedicated to dance.

Meet the Instructor: Takahiro Kusukami


Takahiro Kusukami’s journey as a dancer began at a young age in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. His dedication and talent led him to acquire a scholarship for The Australian Ballet School from the Youth America Grand Prix in 2013. After his training, he joined the Queensland Ballet as a Young Artist and later became a Company Artist. In 2018, Kusukami joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet and ascended through the ranks, achieving the prestigious title of Principal by 2023. His repertoire includes major classical works such as Giselle, The Nutcracker, and Romeo and Juliet, as well as contemporary ballets by notable choreographers. This workshop presents an exceptional chance to learn from someone who embodies the spirit and artistry of ballet.
