The anticipation is soaring as Tokyu Recreation Co., Ltd. officially announces the IMAX screenings of two blockbuster films,
Sinners and
Megapolis, set to premiere on
June 20, 2025. These screenings will take place across
10 different 109 Cinemas locations featuring IMAX technology, including the exclusive full-sized experience only available at the
109 Cinemas Osaka Expo City.

Sinners? This film was entirely shot with IMAX-certified digital cameras, making it a true Filmed for IMAX
experience. Audiences will enjoy an expansive field of view compared to standard screens, providing a depth and sense of realism that only IMAX can offer.
Megapolis, directed by legendary filmmaker

18 meters high and 26 meters wide. With the 4K Twin Laser Projection System, both films will be displayed in a rare
1.43:1 full-size aspect ratio during selected scenes, while the remaining theaters will showcase the films at
1.90:1. This exclusivity in aspect ratio elevates the cinematic experience to unprecedented levels.
