Meizu's Global Expansion in the Mobile Market



On May 20, 2025, Meizu reaffirmed its ambitions for global expansion during a high-profile online launch event. Building on its noteworthy presentation at MWC 2025 and strategic partnership with Geely, the company introduced five new smartphones alongside innovative wearable products. This launch signifies Meizu's energetic return to the global market, emphasizing its "All in AI" strategy and commitment to innovative, interconnected ecosystems.

New Smartphone Portfolio



Meizu has unveiled its latest smartphone lineup aimed at budget-conscious consumers without compromising on performance. The MEIZU Mblu 22 starts with an HD+ 6.79-inch display and a refresh rate of 90Hz, powered by an octa-core processor. It features a 5,000 mAh battery for prolonged use and an F1.8 aperture camera for stunning landscape shots and beautiful portraits. Priced between $79 and $89, it's positioned to appeal to many.

Moving up in the range, the MEIZU Mblu 22 Pro offers a robust MediaTek Helio G81 processor, a 6.79-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a 50 MP primary camera, and a 2 MP macro lens, all crafted within a durable Titan shield architecture. Its pricing is set between $99 and $129.

For tech enthusiasts, the MEIZU Note 22 features a versatile triple-camera setup—boasting a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 2 MP portrait lens. This device balances high performance with affordability, ranging from $179 to $299. Meanwhile, the MEIZU Note 22 5G supports up to 24 GB of RAM and includes a unique design influenced by traditional Chinese architecture, along with a powerful 50 MP camera system. Its price ranges from $169 to $229.

Finally, the MEIZU Note 22 Pro 5G utilizes the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, features a high-end camera setup, and boasts a long-lasting 6200 mAh battery with rapid charging capabilities. This model is expected to be priced between $299 and $369.

Launch of Innovative Wearables



In addition to smartphones, Meizu introduced the StarV View AR glasses and the StarV Ring2 health monitor. The StarV View glasses feature a sleek design combined with high-quality AR capabilities, including a 120Hz display and ultra-high definition graphics. Weighing only 74 grams, they provide a private cinema experience right in your pocket, adjustable for individuals with myopia.

On the other hand, the StarV Ring2 is set to revolutionize health monitoring, tracking sleep quality, heart rate, and exercise duration, all while commanding a water-resistance rating of IP68, making it suitable for swimming. With Flyme OS integration, it can control other devices seamlessly.

Meizu's new smartphones and wearable devices will initially roll out in Russia, Spain, Malaysia, and Vietnam, expanding to over 30 countries across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe.
