Exploring the Intersection of Animal Welfare and Sustainable Food Production
Lively LLC, in collaboration with WeWork Japan, is set to host an engaging event aimed at exploring the future of sustainable food through the lens of animal welfare. This unique dialogue will focus on how our understanding and application of animal welfare principles can shape not just our daily lives but also the business landscape. The event intends to bring together a diverse group of participants, including stakeholders from sustainability, procurement, and business development sectors, to foster a multidimensional conversation.
The event will feature a live broadcast from the innovative 'Unshelled' model chicken coop, developed by Professor Toshiaki Niimura of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, a leading expert in animal welfare. The audience will have the opportunity to learn the essential concepts of animal welfare during a comprehensive lecture, followed by a group discussion that encourages the sharing of ideas and insights on sustainable practices and business models.
As we witness the growing adoption of animal welfare principles in Europe, this event serves as a timely platform for reflecting on our agricultural practices and lifestyle choices in relation to environmental sustainability. Attendees will gain exposure to the modern farming welfare model exemplified by 'Unshelled' while engaging in meaningful dialogues that inspire new perspectives and initiatives.
