Emerging Trends in Education: AI and Workforce Development for 2030

Special Seminar on AI in Education and Workforce Development



On August 6, 2026, Goodworks Co., Ltd. will host a special seminar aimed at middle and high school educators, and education committee members at the TKP Akihabara Conference Center in Tokyo. This event is free of charge and will run in two sessions, each accommodating 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Event Background and Purpose


The education sector currently faces significant questions about necessary changes, particularly in response to evolving societal needs. This seminar addresses these challenges through a multifaceted approach incorporating perspectives from society, universities, schools, and the corporate world. Participants will leave with both a vision for future educational goals and strategies for implementing digital transformation (DX) and AI in educational settings.

The day will consist of three key sessions, each followed by a networking opportunity:
1. Session 1: Enhancing School Administration with AI
Time: Morning 10:10–10:55 / Afternoon 14:10–14:55
This session will discuss examples of using AI to streamline school operations, addressing an urgent need for reforms in work practices. It includes case studies of progressive implementations and facilitates a discussion on future initiatives.

2. Session 2: Cultivating Future Talent for 2030
Time: Morning 11:00–11:45 / Afternoon 15:00–15:45
Focused on the direct connections between high school information education and subsequent careers, this session discusses what kind of talent society is seeking in the future. Perspectives from universities and IT businesses will enrich the discussion on effective talent development strategies.

3. Session 3: Decoding New Curriculum Guidelines

Participants will learn about the ongoing discussions around new curriculum guidelines by the Ministry of Education, with essential insights regarding the transition period that will commence next year, dissected from both technical and social perspectives by IT companies.
