Aerial Machine & Tool Corp Promotes Jerry Meyer to Director of Operations

Aerial Machine & Tool Corp Announces Jerry Meyer as Director of Operations

Aerial Machine & Tool Corp, a prominent player in the survivability and technical sewing solutions sector, has recently elevated Jerry Meyer to the position of Director of Operations. This announcement marks a significant milestone for both Meyer and the company as they continue to advance in their mission to provide critical support to military and emergency service personnel.

The promotion comes in the wake of a retirement vacancy within the company, allowing Aerial to cultivate talent from within its ranks. Jerry Meyer, who has been serving as Aerial's Program Manager, was deemed the ideal candidate to fill this pivotal role. As the new Director of Operations, Meyer will oversee key functions including manufacturing, supply chain management, quality assurance, safety protocols, and facility operations. A crucial aspect of his responsibilities will be ensuring the efficient and compliant production of equipment that plays a vital role in the missions of military service members and first responders.

Meyer brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record in program management and operations. His career spans over two decades in the United States Marine Corps, where he honed his skills in high-pressure environments. After his military service, he transitioned to the commercial sector, joining Wayfair as the Dangerous Goods and Operational Compliance Program Manager. His experience culminated at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he served as Program Manager for F-16 Military Radomes.

Academically, Meyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from Southern New Hampshire University and is recognized as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®. Most recently, he played a crucial role in driving Aerial’s Program Management capabilities by leading initiatives focusing on Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS) and Aviation Combat Equipment (ACE). His ability to translate complex operational requirements into effective execution demonstrated his commitment to driving cross-functional accountability within the organization.

Upon his promotion, Meyer expressed his enthusiasm by stating, “I’ve witnessed the operational performance of our tremendous team firsthand, and I’m extremely honored for the opportunity to work alongside them to deliver for both our business and the brave men and women who rely on our equipment to survive some of the toughest environments imaginable.” He also looks forward to making immediate contributions in guiding Aerial’s growth and development in the future.

In a statement, Thomas Weidley, Aerial’s President and CEO, emphasized Meyer’s promotion as a key component of the company’s mission, saying, “Aerial’s mission is driven by a team of patriots whose work saves lives every day. As Director of Operations, Meyer will strengthen our manufacturing execution, operating discipline, and accountability to ensure our teams deliver life-saving equipment with the speed, quality, and reliability our warfighters depend on.”
