Introducing 'J-MORA Intelligence': A New Era of Retail
In a bid to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of retail distribution processes, the
Retail AI Research Association, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative named
'J-MORA Intelligence'. This project aims to revolutionize product mastering and improve operational workflows across the industry.
Background to 'J-MORA'
The
J-MORA (Joint Master of Retail Applications) serves as a common product master designed for the retail industry. Developed to streamline operations and standardize processes, it is an open-access product master that facilitates efficiency across corporate boundaries. This collaborative initiative, which aims to democratize data utilization, aligns perfectly with the growing digital transformation (DX) in retail.
Objectives of 'J-MORA Intelligence'
Kicking off in July 2025, the 'J-MORA Intelligence' project focuses on uncovering inefficiencies associated with product master registration through innovative technology. The approach involves hands-on programming experiences and proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments, allowing participants to take direct action against the challenges faced in real-time environments. The aim is to convert theoretical knowledge into practical skills that can be applied directly to participants' work.
Participants will engage in collective training sessions, learning about
Python and
SQL as they connect the dots between data utilization and real-world applications. This knowledge transfer is expected to directly enhance the productivity and efficiency of their respective organizations.
