The engineering team at Dexterity made significant enhancements to the perception pipeline, which now operates with NVIDIA’s cutting-edge L4 GPUs and TensorRT technology, drastically reducing processing time from 1,508 milliseconds to just 90 milliseconds per cycle. This optimization represents a massive 17-fold improvement across multiple stages involving object decomposition, geometric reconstruction, and physics synthesis.
Moreover, the amount of data processed per cycle increased exponentially—from a mere 3% to 100%—translating to a 32-fold increase in the richness of information available for decision-making, crucial for handling intricate tasks such as truck loading.
