Poppins Provides Essential Childcare Services at Corporate Seminars
Poppins Family Care, a subsidiary of Poppins Co., Ltd., based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is paving the way for parents returning to work by offering temporary childcare services during corporate events and seminars. Recently, this was showcased at a reemployment seminar hosted by Mitsui Real Estate Management, where they provided facilitation for working parents, allowing them to participate freely while their children were lovingly cared for.
Supporting Parents’ Transition Back to Work
Mitsui Real Estate Management organized a seminar for individuals returning to work in spring. This initiative created a valuable opportunity for participants in similar situations to come together, share experiences, and foster a supportive environment for their return to the workforce. During this seminar, 11 children were taken care of in a dedicated childcare area, engaging in enriching activities blending education and care, termed “EduCare.” Children enjoyed a variety of playful and educational experiences, allowing them to thrive in a nurturing atmosphere.
The childcare space was purposely located in an open area, which contributed to a warm, home-like environment where employees could stop by and interact with the children. This setup not only enhanced the seminar atmosphere but also provided parents a sense of connection. Feedback included comments like, "Every year, seeing the childcare setup brings the feeling of spring and new beginnings."
Building Community Through Seminars
Parents who utilized the childcare service expressed relief and joy, saying that being able to leave their children in trustworthy hands allowed them to focus entirely on the seminar. Additionally, there were comments such as, "It was wonderful to introduce my child to my colleagues,” pointing to new and meaningful social connections forming through these interactions. The experience also motivated some parents to venture out with their children into the city, further encapsulating how communal support in parental challenges can foster growth and connections.

Poppins' EduCare emphasizes the importance of childhood education during the critical early years of human development. This approach combines care and education, promoting emotional growth, intellect, and creativity, inspiring children's curiosity and encouraging independent actions. During temporary caregiving events, such as the childcare provision at corporate seminars, various engaging activities are designed to implement EduCare effectively.
The Nanny: Educational Childcare Provider
A "Nanny" refers to educational babysitters, highly trained and respected even by the British royal family.
