Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. has recently announced the appointment of Michael Rogers as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer, effective from June 1, 2026. Currently, Michael Rogers is serving as the CFO at Conlan Tire Co. and Hercules Materials Holdings LLC and their related entities. His impressive career spans over three decades, having spent a substantial part of it at Ford Motor Company. At Ford, he held various pivotal finance leadership roles such as Model e Controller for Product Development, Global Controller for Warranty, and Global Controller for Material Planning and Logistics, along with the role of Finance Director for the Canada, Mexico, and South America Operations. This wealth of experience equips him with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of Universal’s financial landscape.

Tim Phillips, the CEO of Universal Logistics Holdings, expressed his enthusiasm about Rogers joining the team: "We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Mike in this role. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. His educational background complements his extensive corporate experience, providing him with a solid foundation for tackling the challenges of his new role at Universal.

In contrast, the company also revealed that Jude M. Beres has decided to resign from his position as CFO and Treasurer to pursue opportunities outside the transportation and logistics industry, effective May 29, 2026. Jude Beres has been with Universal since 2016 and has played a fundamental role in the company’s growth and operational success over nearly three decades.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Universal team, I want to thank Jude for his many years of dedicated and exemplary service to the Company," stated Phillips. He further emphasized Beres’s significant contributions to Universal’s development and wished him success in his future endeavors. During the transition period, Beres is expected to stay on until his official departure to assist with the handoff of responsibilities.
