AFRIKA ROSE Returns to Hiroo

AFRIKA ROSE, a lifestyle brand that brings beautiful Kenyan roses directly to Japan through fair trade, is set to open a new store named "AFRIKA ROSE & cafe bar" (tentative title) in Hiroo, Tokyo, in November 2025. This new venue aims to immerse visitors in the richness and diversity of Africa by offering Kenyan roses, African coffee, and South African wine.

Founded by Asante Co., Ltd. under the leadership of Hiduki Tanaka, AFRIKA ROSE was born from a passion for showcasing the power and beauty of roses that thrive in the African soil. The journey began in 2012 after experiencing the pride of Kenyan farmers alongside their exquisite blooms. In 2015, the first store opened in Hiroo, providing customers with the joy of gifting a single rose. However, the business faced challenges during the pandemic and had to close its doors at the end of 2023.

Despite the closure, Hiroo remains a significant and treasured location for AFRIKA ROSE. The brand is thrilled to announce its return to the community in 2025, bringing not just roses but also the flavors of Africa with coffee and wine. This new cafe bar will serve as a gathering spot for people to connect, converse, and appreciate the diverse allure of Africa, embodying the concept of a “place where the world becomes one.”
