Airswift Strengthens Its Energy Solutions by Acquiring New Tech Global Businesses
Airswift, a prominent global provider of workforce solutions, is making headlines with its strategic acquisition of selected businesses from New Tech Global (NTG). This landmark deal, which involves a significant yet undisclosed sum, aims to bolster Airswift's position as a leading provider of workforce solutions within the U.S. energy sector. Following the acquisition, Airswift is set to expand its contractor base by approximately 30%, enhancing its capabilities to provide comprehensive services across the U.S. energy landscape.
The acquisition encompasses three specific NTG businesses, each of which serves a unique function in the energy sector. The assets of New Tech Global Ventures and New Tech Global Rig Personnel will significantly boost Airswift's workforce solutions, particularly in the upstream oil and gas market. Additionally, NTG Auburn will be rebranded as Auburn Energy Management, an entity under the Airswift umbrella, specializing in an array of services including project and asset management, contract operations, as well as technical advisory services within upstream energy. This rebranding reflects Airswift's commitment to integrating NTG's reputable expertise into its operations, thereby reinforcing its service offerings to clients.
Jenny Amalfi, who serves as the President of the Americas for Airswift, expressed her enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating, "This acquisition significantly strengthens Airswift's position as a leading energy workforce solutions provider in the U.S. Bringing together NTG's highly respected upstream expertise with Airswift's global platform expands both the scale of our contractor network and the breadth of services we can deliver to clients." This merger not only enhances Airswift's capabilities in critical areas such as drilling, completions, and project management, but it also facilitates international workforce deployment, creating additional opportunities for enhanced service delivery.
As the integration of newly acquired contractors begins, they will transition into Airswift's extensive contractor care and support framework, allowing them to access a broader network of opportunities with various clients. By joining Airswift, NTG leaders including Roger Koeppe, David Rodriguez, Nick Andrews, and Mark Malone will continue to lead the operations, ensuring that their expertise and client relationships are preserved and enhanced in the new structure.
Keith Grimes, the CEO of NTG, spoke highly of the partnership with Airswift, declaring that it is the ideal atmosphere for growth and collaboration. "The combination of NTG's specialist expertise and client relationships with Airswift's global infrastructure, technology, and market presence creates a platform for long-term growth, and opens the door to greater opportunities for our employees, contractors, and customers," he commented. This perspective underscores the forward-looking vision of both organizations as they unite their strengths to leverage market opportunities.
Texas Capital Securities played a crucial role in this acquisition, serving as the exclusive financial advisor, while Bonds Ellis Eppich Schafer Jones LLP provided legal counsel to NTG. Their involvement highlights the careful planning and professional collaboration required for such significant business transactions. Ultimately, this acquisition marks a pivotal milestone for Airswift as it aims to expand its influence and service capabilities within the dynamic U.S. energy sector, asserting itself as an essential partner for energy industry players seeking skilled workforce solutions.
