La Folle Journée TOKYO 2025 at Tokyo Station
Tokyo Station is set to host an exhilarating music event titled
La Folle Journée TOKYO 2025, spanning from May 3 to May 11, 2025. This special 9-day celebration is organized by the Tokyo Station City Operations Council and will feature a mix of riveting concerts and interactive street piano performances, providing an excellent opportunity to indulge in the joy of music during the Golden Week.
Event Schedule
The festivities will kick off with musical concerts at the Tokyo International Forum, focusing on the Tokyo Station area from May 3 (Saturday) to May 5 (Monday). Notably, on May 3 at 15:00, the talented Akihito Kitamura, who received the Grand Prize at the 46th Pitina Piano Competition in 2022, will present a spectacular concert.
This event is not only a chance to enjoy live music but also a platform to witness the talent of emerging artists. Following is a glimpse of the concert schedule:

All performances will take place at the Grand Stage B1 in front of Godiva Café, accessibly located at the Yaesu Underground Central Exit of JR Tokyo Station. These concerts are free for all to enjoy, making it an inviting atmosphere for music lovers of all kinds.
Tokyo Station Piano
From May 6 (Tuesday) to May 11 (Sunday), the
Tokyo Station Piano event will feature a unique opportunity to play a street piano located within the station premises. This year marks the debut of the exquisite KAWAI Crystal Piano at Tokyo Station. Known for its artistic design and exceptional sound quality, this piano has captivated audiences since its release in 1971, and now it will serve as a conduit for musical expression right in the heart of the station. The piano will be available for use from 12:00 to 20:00, allowing both professionals and amateurs an inviting platform to showcase their talents.
