SANY Stuns at bauma 2025 with Sustainable Innovations and Digital Intelligence
The 34th bauma exhibition, known as the leading global trade fair for construction machinery, concluded recently in Munich, Germany, leaving a significant impact on attendees. The event, held under the motto “The World of Efficiency, Your Partner for Best Results,” featured SANY Group, which alongside Putzmeister, captivated the audience with its expansive display of innovative technologies spread across a 5,256 sqm booth. On the opening day alone, SANY attracted over 200 customers and secured contracts worth nearly 3 billion Yuan (approximately €360.3 million).
Showcasing an Impressive Lineup
This year, SANY unveiled 35 flagship products, including excavators, telehandlers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, and road construction machinery. Of these, 31 carry CE certification, 15 have been introduced globally, and 11 are electric, showcasing SANY’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Notable Products Include:
- - SCC2000A-EV: The largest fully electric lattice boom crawler crane featuring a 422-kWh high-performance CATL battery designed for up to 9 hours of operation. It is powered by a 234 kW Danfoss engine and is capable of handling 200 tons with its 86 m long main boom.
- - STR50E: Industry's first 5-ton electric roller, fitted with a 60-kWh battery for continuous operation exceeding 7 hours. It quickly charges via common EV stations within 60 minutes and operates effectively between -20 °C to 50 °C.

Focus on Digital Intelligence
SANY's Digital Intelligence Exhibition Zone similarly attracted numerous visitors, prominently showcasing the MySANY platform and the advanced Mechlink intelligent excavator system. Developed in conjunction with Yaowu Technology and SANY Heavy Machinery's R&D Institute, Mechlink is tailored for large excavators operating under demanding conditions. Utilizing 5G technology with ultra-low latency, it allows for intelligent excavation at L2-level with a single click, enhancing safety and efficiency.
Another highlight was a live demonstration of the excavator's remote control from Munich to Huzhou, China, covering a distance of over 8,500 kilometers. This remarkable feat gathered over 200 participants and received enthusiastic applause.
Since its expansion into Europe in 2009 through its base in Bedburg, Germany, SANY has established a versatile ecosystem across the continent that encompasses R&D, production, marketing, and customer service. With a network of 150 dealers, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles, and spare parts inventory valued at €20 million, SANY consistently exceeds customer expectations by meeting market demands for clean, environmentally friendly, and sustainable products.
The innovations presented by SANY at bauma 2025 not only position the company for future growth but also reflect a broader industry trend towards environmentally friendly and digitally advanced construction solutions. The enthusiasm observed at the event suggests a promising future for sustainable technology in the construction machinery sector.
