Rho Introduces Streamlined Invoice Payment Solutions for Businesses
Rho Enhances Invoice Payments with New Card Features
In a significant update aimed at boosting ease and efficiency for businesses, Rho, the all-in-one finance platform, has introduced a new feature that allows Rho Invoicing customers to accept credit and debit card payments directly on their invoices. This innovative solution now includes support for popular digital payment options like Google Pay, making transactions more seamless for clients.
Simplifying Payment Processes
The integration of card payments marks a substantial enhancement to Rho's invoicing capabilities. Customers previously had options limited to ACH (Automated Clearing House) and wire transfers. Now, with the addition of credit and debit cards, businesses can process a wider range of payments without the hassle of managing separate merchant accounts or logins. This means that businesses can enjoy a smoother payment experience, with funds being directly accessible from their existing Rho accounts.
To initiate a payment, clients merely need to access their invoice and input their card information — a process that takes just a few clicks. Additionally, the card payment feature carries a straightforward processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 for every transaction, which is deducted from the payment amount before it is deposited into the business’s account. For the sender, ACH and wire transfers remain free of charge, ensuring that businesses can maintain cost-effective operations.
Ensuring Efficiency and Security
One of the appealing aspects of Rho's invoicing system is its streamlined functionality that keeps the user experience at the forefront. When a payment is made via card, invoices are automatically marked as paid once the payout is initiated. However, businesses should note that because the funds follow card-network timelines for processing, the first payment might take up to two weeks to arrive as Rho’s card payment services are powered through Stripe, which performs an initial review of transactions.
Rho Invoicing is designed to be accessible for all Rho customers free of charge, aside from the aforementioned card processing fees. The platform supports up to 100 line items per invoice and includes features like recurring billing, payment matching, and customizable templates that allow businesses to promote their own brand rather than the Rho branding. Moreover, virtual account numbers are utilized to protect sensitive banking details, ensuring a high level of security throughout the invoicing and payment process.
Integration with Accounting Tools
In addition to the enhanced payment capabilities, Rho invoices are synced seamlessly with QuickBooks Online, allowing for accurate tracking of accounts receivable without the tedious task of duplicate entry. This automation greatly assists businesses in managing their financial operations more effectively.
Businesses are advised that the availability of these card payment features will initially be limited to those clients eligible for USD-denominated invoices. To activate the card payment functionality, companies must complete Stripe's verification process, which includes careful underwriting and approval steps, each subject to the discretion of third parties.
