LiuGong Unveils Revolutionary Electric Solutions at CONEXPO 2026

LiuGong Shines at CONEXPO 2026

LiuGong, a leading player in the construction machinery industry, made a significant impact at the 2026 CONEXPO-CON/AGG held in Las Vegas, showcasing a total of 13 machines spanning various product lines under the thought-provoking theme "Tough Customers. Tough Equipment." The event emphasized the need for durable and efficient equipment suitable for applications ranging from urban construction to mining and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Electric Solutions Taking Center Stage

Among the highlight of their display were the zero-emission excavator model 922FE and the wheel loaders 870HE and 820TE. These machines represent LiuGong's expanding portfolio of electric vehicles tailored for the American market. Notably, they provide operational cost reductions exceeding 40% due to decreased wear parts, fluids, and filters, coupled with simpler maintenance requirements. Their quiet operation and immediate torque make them ideal for urban construction, demolition, and emissions-sensitive public sector projects.

Currently, LiuGong Electric Equipment's presence extends to over 60 countries, boasting cumulative sales of more than 60,000 units. This global reach signifies the trust and reliance on LiuGong’s innovative solutions.

Diesel Equipment for High-Performance Applications

For demanding applications, LiuGong unveiled the 952F excavator and the 856T wheel loader powered by Cummins Tier 4 Final/Stage V engines. These robust machines are specifically designed for quarrying, mining, and extensive infrastructure projects, emphasizing resilience and continuous operation in challenging and remote environments.

Enhancing Project Profitability with Precision Equipment

In their commitment to project profitability, LiuGong also presented specialized equipment such as the motor grader 4215D and the compactor 6608F, highlighting their capabilities in precision grading and compaction. Advanced leveling accuracy and integrated compaction technologies help reduce rework associated with material removal, paving replacement, and crew redeployment, enabling customers to adhere to timelines and manage operational costs effectively.

A Unified Equipment Ecosystem

LiuGong is rounding out its core earthmoving product lines by introducing the bulldozer TD16N. Standardized telematics and diagnostic systems allow for consistent monitoring and service support across various machine types, simplifying fleet management and aftermarket operations.

Customer Engagement Through Real Insights

In addition to showcasing equipment, LiuGong hosted a podcast series titled "Conversations with Tough Customers" at Booth F18033, where customers and dealers shared real experiences and insights about LiuGong machines' performance, reliability, and business impact.

Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America, emphasized, "Tough customers do not have time for intricacies. They need one reliable partner throughout the project – from the first dig to the final grading. Our mission is to deliver durable and efficient machinery backed by a unified service network."

Creating Value Through Collaboration

Prior to the CONEXPO-CON/AGG event, LiuGong North America organized a two-day dealer conference, bringing together local dealers to discuss industry trends and future development strategies. Dealers also shared their market practices and success stories, which further fortified partnerships and laid a solid groundwork for future market expansions.

LiuGong and Cummins celebrated 30 years of global collaboration on March 4. Over 300,000 LiuGong machines have been equipped with Cummins engines worldwide. The Guangxi Cummins facility has manufactured over 300,000 engines since inception, highlighting the strength of this long-term partnership.

Commitment to the North American Market

On March 2, LiuGong held a press conference attended by nearly 50 top industry leaders and mainstream media representatives. Key figures, including LiuGong President Luo Guobing, Vice President Li Dongchun, and Ryan, unveiled the company’s latest strategy and addressed journalists' inquiries regarding industry trends and future development plans. By expanding its portfolio and emphasizing customer focus, LiuGong reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the local market.

The company is set to further expand its offerings to meet the evolving demands on construction sites and provide reliable, comprehensive solutions for a wide range of applications.
