World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2025: A Culinary Boost for Team Japan



The highly anticipated World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2025 is set to commence on April 26th in Fredericton, Canada, and the excitement is palpable. The Japanese mixed doubles curling team, featuring athletes Matsumura Chiaki and Yata Yasuma, will once again take to the ice, bolstered by support from JA Zennoh, who is providing carefully prepared meals to ensure that the team is energized throughout the competition.

For the past few years, JA Zennoh has recognized the challenges faced by Japanese athletes during international competitions, particularly regarding local cuisine and hygiene standards. To combat these issues, the organization began offering meal support back in 2019, leveraging its overseas network to provide nourishing and familiar food. This year, the team will receive delicious Japanese meals, including rice and beef, prepared by renowned nutritionist Kobataterumi, who has been dispatched specifically for this purpose.
