About the Artist: Tomonori Taniguchi
Born in 1978 in Osaka, Tomonori Taniguchi graduated from Kanazawa College of Art, specializing in Nihonga (Japanese painting). Inspired by his visit to the Bologna Children's Book Fair at age 20, he began creating picture books independently. Following his debut with
"Saru-kun and the Moon", he has published numerous works both in Japan and abroad, including with French publisher Le Petit Lezard, showcasing his talent across multiple media platforms.
