Fukuoka Hosts First-Ever Landlord Festival to Support Property Owners in 2025

Inaugural Fukuoka Landlord Festival Set for September 27, 2025

The upcoming "Landlord Festival" in Fukuoka, organized by Owner's Style (a property management magazine based in Tokyo), will take place on September 27, 2025. This event aims to support landlords through a diverse range of expert seminars and exhibitor booths covering various aspects of rental management, including inheritance and tax strategies.

A Hub of Knowledge and Networking

The festival will feature numerous booths from companies that aim to empower rental management, as well as seminars from experts in inheritance, taxes, and construction. Attendees will have the freedom to explore the venue, engaging in various experiences and gathering valuable information.

Having successfully organized over 40 festivals in major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, this will be the first time the event is held in Fukuoka, responding directly to the local landlords' requests for support in the Kyushu area.

Highlights of the Event

The festival will include approximately 20 seminars covering a wide array of relevant topics. Among the highlights is a special lecture by economist Takashi Kadokura, who will discuss the shifting landscape of Japan's economy and real estate market, examining how current inflationary pressures and rising interest rates are influencing rental management and living conditions.

Kadokura, from BRICs Economic Research Institute, has an extensive background in economic research and media outreach, making him a prominent voice in this area. He aims to provide attendees with clear insights into the current economic climate and its relevance to property management.

Comprehensive Booths for Problem Solving

In addition to the seminars, around 30 companies and experts will offer consultations at their booths, addressing issues related to construction, vacancy strategies, renovations, buying, and selling real estate. It's an excellent opportunity for landlords to compare various solutions and find trustworthy partners.

Prominent participating companies include Panasonic Electric Works, Echoes, and numerous real estate professionals who will be available to discuss landlords' concerns.

Special Project: Landlords' Club

One standout feature of the festival is the "Landlords' Club" area, where eight landlord associations from the Kyushu region will gather. This unique opportunity allows attendees to learn about each association's activities, seek advice from seasoned landlords, and attend seminars for tips on effective rental management.

The associations include:
  • - Owner's Ido Batan Meeting
  • - Kyushu Landlords' Online Salon
  • - Fukuoka Branch of the Landlords' Learning Society
  • - Seniors' Apartment Group
  • - Salarymen Dads' Landlords' Club
  • - DIY Enthusiast Landlords' Group
  • - Nagasaki Landlords' Club
  • - Southern Kyushu Kagoshima Miyazaki Landlords' Association

Engaging and Informative Experiences

The event offers various interactive content, including:
  • - Free consultations on taxes and inheritance from certified specialists like tax accountants and judicial scriveners.
  • - Repair workshops, allowing participants to learn how to fix flooring scratches or dents from professional craftsmen.
  • - An exhibition and sale of popular residential equipment at discounted prices, including water heaters and delivery boxes.
  • - A fortune-telling corner for rental management, which has received positive feedback from past attendees.

Exciting Giveaways and Bonuses

Guests who register in advance and attend the event will receive a complimentary knit tote bag, limited to the first 300 registrants. Attendees can also earn rewards by visiting multiple booths, including a cake product and various gift cards.
