Furniture China 2025 Launches in Pudong with Focus on Innovation and Sustainability

Furniture China 2025: Embracing Innovation and Sustainability in Furniture

Furniture China 2025, along with Maison Shanghai, is set to take place from September 9 to 13, 2025, at the prestigious SWEECC and SNIEC exhibition centers in Pudong, Shanghai. This event is organized by the China National Furniture Association (CNFA) and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the theme this year is “BEYOND NEXT,” aimed at driving transformative innovation in furniture design, manufacturing, and sustainable practices while promoting global business partnerships.

A Platform for Innovation

This year's Furniture China will cover an impressive area of over 350,000 square meters and host more than 3,500 exhibitors from various segments of the furniture industry, including cutting-edge materials and solutions. Attendees can expect a focus on practical sustainability, particularly with the debut of the Garden Furniture Pavilion at E8B, which will showcase 8,000 square meters of modern and durable outdoor designs. Moreover, a new high-end commercial furniture pavilion (E5) will present immersive showcases dedicated to spatial solutions for offices, retail stores, and cultural spaces, emphasizing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations.

All exhibition areas are intelligently categorized, providing a streamlined shopping experience for buyers. Key categories will include contemporary furniture, upholstery, mattresses, office furniture, outdoor furniture, tables and chairs, materials, and hardware.

Maison Shanghai: Redefining Home Interiors

Parallel to Furniture China, Maison Shanghai is transforming into a week-long design exposition running from September 9 to 12, 2025, at SWEECC. Under the theme “The Value of Design,” it will feature over 800 brands across four thematic pavilions, focusing on home decor and furniture. Highlights will involve stylish home decor accessories (H1), trendy lifestyle displays (H2), art-inspired furniture designs (H3), and a Factory Direct Sales Zone (H4) that connects designers with more than 200 OEM/ODM manufacturers. Throughout the event, over 100 forums and activities, including the Gold Idea Design Award and Maison Design Conference, will foster deep dialogues in the industry, encouraging innovative interior design solutions for homes.

Digital Integration and Global Networking

The event also emphasizes digital integration, offering the DTS platform and official app (DTS FurnitureChina) to facilitate B2B connections around the clock. This digital tool bridges the gap between digital and physical commerce, ensuring continuous engagement between exhibitors and buyers.

Visitors can pre-register for free tickets online or through the app for both events. This presents a significant opportunity for industry professionals to engage with the latest innovations in furniture, sustainability, and design trends.

From September 9 to 13, 2025, Shanghai Pudong will become a hotspot for discovering the future of furniture design, showcasing innovative solutions that aim to set new standards in the industry. Don’t miss the chance to witness firsthand how the furniture industry is gearing up for a sustainable future while enhancing global partnerships within the sector.
