Mulberry's Spring Campaign: 'Rooted in Craft'
This April, renowned British brand Mulberry has launched its vibrant spring campaign titled "Rooted in Craft", which emphasizes a return to the brand's origins in Somerset, England. Highlighting the rich artisan heritage inherent in its products, this campaign brings attention back to the company's workshops at The Rookery, where skilled craftspeople dedicate their craftsmanship to create beautiful leather goods.
In collaboration with long-time partner Tim Walker, the campaign features a series of exquisite portraits and still photographs showcasing seven talented artisans alongside a curated selection of Mulberry's finest collections. The settings include The Rookery’s workshop floors, workbenches, and charming floral armchairs, capturing the essence of their daily craftsmanship. Additionally, the campaign unveils eight short videos where artisans share insights into their craft, daily lives, and long-standing relationships with the brand.
Styling for the campaign has been expertly handled by Kate Fähren, who has showcased both classic staples, such as the renowned Heritage Bayswater and the Lily bag, and contemporary designs like the Hackney. Noteworthy new color variations have also been introduced, including the Amberley Top Handle and the Out of the Blue bags, injecting fresh life into Mulberry's core models.
Furthermore, the campaign marks the return of the oversized and unisex Piccadilly bag, an elegant weekend accessory designed to hold all essentials comfortably, featuring the signature Postman’s Lock as a standout accent.
As a proud B Corp certified brand, Mulberry remains committed to sustainability, ensuring that all leathers utilized in this collection are sourced from environmentally certified tanneries. This dedication aligns with the brand's core values that have been recognized since its inception.
