In response to the recent increase in flooding incidents in the area, Tohfukuji assured attendees that BYD's electric vehicles have undergone rigorous endurance tests. They can withstand being submerged in saltwater for up to two hours, showcasing remarkable durability that sets them apart from traditional combustion-engine vehicles. This unique advantage means their intake and exhaust systems are less vulnerable to water damage in case of flooding.
