FireHouse Sets the Stage for Free Outdoor Concert in Sequim This August

FireHouse to Headline Free Outdoor Concert in Sequim

Multi-platinum rock band FireHouse is set to rock Sequim, Washington with a free outdoor concert on Saturday, August 9, 2025. This event is part of the annual Unity of Effort celebration, which honors the dedication and service of military personnel, first responders, and law enforcement.

The concert will cap off a full day of festivities at 250 Center Park Way, commencing at 10:00 AM. The celebration promises a variety of attractions, including displays of helicopters, military and first-responder vehicles, community booths, kids' activities, and family-friendly fun. As the sun sets, FireHouse will take the stage at 8:00 PM, bringing their classic hits like Love of a Lifetime and Don't Treat Me Bad to life.

As for entry, general admission is free, and tickets will be available at the gate. For those wishing for a closer experience, VIP Show Passes are offered for $100. These passes include front-stage seating and two complimentary drinks, but concert-goers should be aware that seats are not provided, so it's advisable to bring camp chairs or blankets for comfort.

FireHouse isn't the only act to bring excitement to the stage. Earlier in the day, Nashville's Scooter Brown Band will perform at 4:00 PM. Known for their unique mixture of Southern rock and country music, they have previously opened for iconic acts such as the Charlie Daniels Band and Travis Tritt. The musical lineup begins with a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem by Pearle Peterson at noon, followed by various local bands, culminating in FireHouse's electrifying performance.

In addition to the musical acts, attendees can expect a wide range of community attractions. Local vendor booths will be set up throughout the area, offering goods and services for families to enjoy. Kids will have a blast with activities such as bounce houses, face painting, and more. Plus, the festival will host a police K-9 demonstration and raffles for exciting prizes.

Helicopter displays will begin arriving at 10:15 AM, continuing at intervals until the flight line reaches capacity, providing a thrilling spectacle for visitors. However, as police K9 dogs will be handling security, pet owners are advised to leave their furry friends at home.

The Unity of Effort event, which runs until 10:00 PM, emphasizes community pride and appreciation of those who serve. Attendees are encouraged to come together for a day filled with music, fun, and respect for our heroes.
