Experience Seasonal Specialties at Sarabeth's
Sarabeth's, an iconic restaurant based in New York, is rolling out an exciting special menu in its Japanese branches this spring. From April 6 to May 31, guests can indulge in two delightful offerings: the Ogura French Toast and the classic Philly Cheesesteak.
Ogura French Toast
The Ogura French Toast is not just any breakfast treat; it’s a luxurious creation using the restaurant's signature halah bread, which is rich with the aroma of eggs and butter. This delightful dish is generously filled with a refined sweet red bean paste known as Ogura-an, soaked thoroughly in a luscious egg batter, and then perfectly grilled to a crisp golden brown. Topping this exquisite toast is a decadent mascarpone whip that adds a touch of saltiness, paired with a vibrant strawberry sauce that balances the sweetness with its refreshing acidity, creating a harmonious taste experience.
Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
For those craving something heartier, Sarabeth's has introduced a sophisticated version of the classic Philly Cheesesteak. This sandwich features tender slices of beef shoulder, perfectly sautéed onions that enhance the meat’s flavor, and velvety red cheddar cheese. All these ingredients are sandwiched between a soft yet crispy baguette, complemented by the crunch of pickles. The dish is served alongside French fries, making it a satisfying meal bursting with flavor.
Complementary Beverage
To elevate your dining experience, Sarabeth's also offers a special drink – the Hojicha Latte. Made from Kaga Hojicha, this latte beautifully blends the deep flavors of roasted green tea with the creaminess of milk, creating a fragrant and gentle beverage that pairs wonderfully with the sweet and savory dishes.
