U.S. Participation at 2025 China International Supply Chain Expo Soars by 15%
The recent
China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) took place from
July 16 to July 20, 2025, in Beijing. It served not only as a vital platform for international communication but also highlighted a significant 15% increase in the number of U.S. exhibitors compared to the prior year. This growth underscores the importance of
supply chain cooperation on a global scale.
Michael Hart, the President of
AmCham China, praised the expo's role in bridging gaps and fostering innovation across borders. Hart noted that a remarkable
60% of U.S. exhibitors hailed from
Fortune Global 500 companies, indicating a high level of involvement from major players in the industry. A notable addition this year was
NVIDIA, a leader in American technology, which made its CISCE debut, further enhancing the profile of the event.
“CISCE has provided a fantastic platform for interaction and collaboration,” Hart remarked. The expo also served as a stage for AmCham China’s first independent booth, where member companies exhibited their innovative solutions and explored potential partnerships. This initiative marked the launch of the
2025 Navigator Program, aimed at nurturing leadership and collaboration in supply chains linked to Chinese markets.
Yu Jianlong,
Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized that the mutual understanding between American and Chinese firms is fundamental in advancing bilateral relations. “The essence of U.S.-China relations relies on personal connections,” he stated, reinforcing the belief that strong supply chain bonds can ensure stable and seamless global operations.
CISCE this year provided a myriad of opportunities for discussions around future collaboration and partnerships among businesses. It emphasized not just innovation in supply chain processes, but also resilience within the industry. In discussing the significance of
Shandong Province, Hart mentioned the robust industrial infrastructure that has attracted nearly
1,000 American companies since 1986. This province stands out due to its strengths in manufacturing, agriculture, and logistics.
“Shandong is one of China’s most dynamic provinces,” Hart explained, attributing its attractiveness to a combination of an efficient infrastructure and a skilled workforce. These qualities have encouraged numerous AmCham China members to establish production bases and regional hubs within the province.
The continued success of CISCE highlights its pivotal role in enhancing regional cooperation and business development, showcasing the latest advancements in supply chain innovation. Looking forward, the expo remains committed to fostering stronger partnerships across borders and driving economic growth in an interconnected marketplace.
