Established in 1999, Fresh Start has been addressing the pressing issues of homelessness, deprivation, and poverty in Edinburgh by providing essential support services.

The charity's primary focus is on enabling individuals who have recently been homeless to establish a comfortable life in their new homes. To achieve this goal, Fresh Start distributes Starter Packs containing essential household items that assist over 2,000 individuals yearly. This tremendous effort has seen the organization delivering more than 14,000 Starter Packs annually, significantly improving the lives of those transitioning out of homelessness.

This includes providing kitchen appliances, cooking classes, and even painting and decorating assistance to ensure that people can create a true home environment.
