Lument Finance Trust Completes Reverse Stock Split to Enhance Market Positioning

Lument Finance Trust Completes Reverse Stock Split

Lument Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: LFT) announced the completion of its long-awaited 1-for-10 reverse stock split on September 9, 2026, post the closing of market operations. This strategic measure aims to streamline the company’s share structure and is anticipated to bolster its trading attractiveness.

During the reverse stock split, every ten shares of the company's common stock were consolidated into one. As a result, the total number of outstanding shares has been significantly reduced from approximately 52.6 million to about 5.26 million. The consolidation was executed while ensuring that no fractional shares remain outstanding. Investors who would have otherwise received fractional shares are entitled instead to a cash payment calculated based on the fractional share value, which was determined to be $6.959 per share.

It is important to note that this reverse stock split will not alter the relative ownership percentages or voting power of the shareholders, mitigating concerns among investors about potential dilution. This measure is aimed purely to improve the company’s share price and ultimately its market capitalization without impacting existing shareholders adversely.

Post-split, Lument’s shares will continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol
