Beko Announces Ragıp Balcıoğlu as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer



On October 1, 2025, Beko, a global leader in home appliances, appointed Ragıp Balcıoğlu to the position of Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. Balcıoğlu, who previously served as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and Chief Executive Officer of Beko Europe, brings a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, and international distribution to his new role.

Ragıp Balcıoğlu has been with Beko since 1992, advancing through numerous positions within the company. His career began in 1990 as a marketing manager, and shortly after joining Beko, he moved to the UK to take on the role of trade manager for Beko UK in 1996. Over the years, he has held various senior management roles, including product marketing, product management, and sales director, and was Country Manager for the UK and Ireland between 2011 and 2015. From 2015 onwards, he returned to Beko's headquarters as the commercial director for global sales, contributing to the growth of the company’s international business.

In his new capacity as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Balcıoğlu will oversee the global strategy for Beko and manage a portfolio of 22 brands across 57 countries. His role will focus on enhancing Beko's global marketing initiatives and driving the company's vision to become the number one household appliances brand worldwide through consumer-centric, data-driven, and innovative strategies.

Beko is recognized for its strong global reach, with operations in over 55 countries and a workforce exceeding 50,000 employees. The company specializes in manufacturing a broad range of household appliances, and in 2024, it reported a consolidated revenue of €10.6 billion. Moreover, Beko has established 29 research and development centers worldwide, filing over 4,500 international patent applications to date.

The company’s commitment to sustainability has not gone unnoticed; Beko has achieved the highest score for six consecutive years in the SP Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment for the household durables sector and has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for eight consecutive years.
