On November 7, 2025, Ampace, a leading lithium battery manufacturer, unveiled its latest advancements at the EICMA show in Milan. The company introduced cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing the performance and business models of electric motorcycles. Among the standout products were the E30P cell designed specifically for electric motorcycles and the Kun-Era series.
Breakthrough Technologies in Electric Motorcycles
Ampace’s solutions for electric motorcycles are built around its self-developed Battery System (BP) that strikes a balance between energy density, stability, and power. The E30P cell, for example, is a cylindrical battery that allows for rapid charging—achieving 95% charge in just 47 minutes and 50% in 15 minutes. This cell powers the industry’s first high-capacity 72V 90Ah battery, boasting an impressive range of 195 kilometers. What’s more, the E30P maintains over 90% capacity after 2,000 cycles and exhibits minimal degradation even after being exposed to 45°C for 250 days. Thanks to Ampace’s proprietary technology, it retains more than 100% capacity during the first 300 cycles.
The Kun-Era series offers six fundamental advantages, including safety, power, and lightweight construction. It supports a continuous discharge of 120 A, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in under 3 seconds. A complete charge to 80% takes about 40 minutes, and both battery options can deliver over 150 kilometers of range. Models such as the Wuyang-Honda's E-VO GT and NIU’s NX Hyper are already utilizing this technology, with the E-VO GT achieving a top speed of 120 km/h and setting a new lap record at the Zhuhai International Circuit.
