KOREA旅FESTIVAL2025: Connecting Cultures in Hokkaido

This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, and to commemorate this momentous occasion, the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, along with the Korea Tourism Organization, is hosting the "KOREA旅FESTIVAL2025 #ConnectingKorea in Hokkaido". This vibrant event will take place on May 17-18, 2025, at Sapporo's Kita 3- jo Plaza (Akapura). Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted nearly 20,000 visitors, this festival promises an engaging experience rich in Korean culture and tourism.

Event Highlights

The festival will feature a special stage where Haruna Ai, a popular entertainer and honorary tourism ambassador for Korea, will host the talk show "Choyayo! KOREA" to showcase the latest Korean cuisines and travel spots. Additionally, attendees can look forward to a live recording and special concert by FM North Wave's renowned show, "Oban desu! HAMBURGER BOYS." The event will also host a variety of activities, including the "Korean Scenic 30 Quiz Contest," K-beauty stage showcases, K-pop dance performances, and a stamp rally!

Visitors can explore promotional booths from the Korea Tourism Organization, local Korean governments, travel agencies, airlines, and hotels, gaining access to the latest travel information and tour packages. The festival will also have immersive experiences featuring traditional Korean clothing (Hanbok) and traditional games highlighted in popular dramas.

For those participating in the stamp rally via their smartphones, prizes such as Korean snacks await winners. An exciting raffle will offer attendees a chance to win round-trip tickets between Korea and Japan.
