Ito Seika Co., Ltd., a well-known confectionery manufacturer in Kita-ku, collaborated with Family Mart to host a Christmas parfait making workshop as part of the 'Family Mart Children's Cafeteria' initiative. A Day Filled with Fun Activities

The event started with an engaging introductory session held at the Family Mart store located on the first floor of the Ito Seika headquarters. The children and their parents were guided through various tasks, including operating the cash register and arranging products on shelves, allowing them to experience firsthand what it’s like to work in a convenience store.

Once the participants were warmed up and excited, they moved on to the main attraction of the day: the Christmas parfait creation workshop led by Ito Seika. The children took part in an interactive quiz that introduced them to the differences between cake flour and bread flour. This engaging format allowed them to touch, knead, and stretch the flours, learning about their characteristics in a hands-on way.

Next was the much-anticipated moment to construct their very own Christmas parfaits. With the guidance of the expert instructors, the kids crushed Ito Seika's 'Crispy Plain Biscuits' and 'Mellow Mini Butter Cookies' to create layers for their parfaits. Using various Family Mart treats, they built a solid foundation, crafting colorful and festive creations topped with tartlets and chocolate chip cookies.

Excitement filled the air as children exclaimed, "I made a perfect parfait!" and "It’s delicious!" Each child walked away beaming with pride over their unique and tasty creations, resulting in a lively and joyous atmosphere throughout the workshop.
