Thermos and the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25
In an exciting collaboration, Thermos Co., a global leader in insulated bottle manufacturing, is set to sponsor the
FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25, taking place from July 25-27 at the iconic Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata, Japan. Building on its commitment to sustainability, Thermos will once again set up a
water refill station at the festival, allowing attendees to bring their own bottles and enjoy free water, thereby reducing waste from single-use plastics.
A Commitment to the Environment
Thermos has expressed deep support for the festival's mission of striving toward being the 'world's cleanest festival.' Since beginning their sponsorship in 2023, the company has encouraged participants to adopt eco-friendly habits by inviting them to bring their own bottles to the event. This initiative is aimed at minimizing the waste generated from plastic bottles and paper cups throughout the festival.
Water Refill Station Details
Thermos will set up two water refill stations; one will be located at the
Thermos booth within the festival grounds, and the other at the
and tap CAFE inside JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station. These stations will provide attendees who bring their own, reusable bottles with complimentary water throughout the festival duration. Last year, Thermos provided approximately
1,550 liters of water to festival-goers, equating to around
3,100 uses when accounting for an estimated 500ml per person.
- - Location 1: Thermos Booth at the festival (inside Yellow Cliff)
-
Operation hours: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- - Location 2: and tap CAFE at JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station
-
Operation hours: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Note: Only reusable bottles can be refilled, and the station will cease operations once the water runs out.
Charity Campaign
In addition to providing water refills, Thermos will also host a unique
charity campaign at their booth. Participants can engage in a ring toss game, with part of the proceeds going to the
Fuji Rock Forest project. This engaging corner not only promotes participation but gives attendees an opportunity to contribute to a good cause. The ring toss equipment has been ingeniously designed using recycled materials from previous events and Thermos products.
Participants will have the chance to win Thermos products as prizes! Those who do not win will still receive a
discount ticket—valued at 300 yen—good for drinks at selected vendors in the festival, encouraging continued use of their reusable bottles and tumblers.
