Melissa Anastasiou brings over 20 years of extensive experience within legal, finance, and governance sectors to her new role. Her background is impressive, highlighted by over 16 years with Spark New Zealand, where she held pivotal roles including Executive Group General Counsel and Commercial Director. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in advising the Board and Executive Leadership Team on various crucial matters such as corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.
In her capacity at Spark, Melissa chaired the AI Data Ethics Committee, spearheading initiatives in enterprise AI governance and responsible data practices. Such a wealth of expertise positions her perfectly to lead Sharon AI through its next phase of development.
