This solution allows them to utilize their facilities' rooftops effectively for solar energy generation without the burden of initial capital investment. By implementing this system at their Yokohama Logistics Center, Sankyu has successfully reduced approximately 95 tons of CO₂ annually.

Circular Power," which uses surplus electricity generated at their facilities. For instance, in the case of their Kashima branch, three facilities were able to achieve a 100% renewable energy usage rate and an annual CO₂ reduction of approximately 301 tons, despite being unable to install solar panels due to building structure limitations. By combining the on-site solar PPA with circular power, Sankyu aims to capitalize on renewable energy produced within the group, thereby advancing their decarbonization efforts.
