Sky Labs Partners with American Heart Association for Research
On March 12, 2026, Sky Labs announced its official support for the American Heart Association's (AHA)
Established Investigator Award for Clinical Hypertension. This initiative follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the AHA in September of the previous year, which symbolizes a significant collaborative effort aimed at advancing hypertension research globally.
Purpose of the Award
The Established Investigator Award is designed to provide financial assistance to three distinguished researchers who have made notable achievements in the study of hypertension. Over the period from 2026 to 2028, Sky Labs is committed to providing approximately
$90,000, which will cover annual stipends for the selected researchers and all expenses related to the award program.
To be eligible, candidates must be members of the AHA's Scientific Council on Hypertension, ensuring that the award recognizes those who are truly enhancing our understanding of hypertension.
Statement from Sky Labs

We aim to strengthen clinical research that confirms the effectiveness of blood pressure management solutions and will continue to actively invest in research and development to support these initiatives."
About Sky Labs
Founded in September 2015, Sky Labs is at the forefront of AI healthcare solutions, particularly known for its innovative
CART system, the world’s first medical wearable device for blood pressure monitoring in the form of a ring. The technology aims to manage chronic conditions through continuous and unobtrusive monitoring.
The company’s journey took an impressive leap with the development of the CART in 2020, initially devised to monitor atrial fibrillation by leveraging heart signals through optical sensors. By 2023, Sky Labs received regulatory approval for the
CART BP pro, a ring monitor tailored for continuous blood pressure measurement, demonstrating its commitment to improving patient care. This device was recognized under existing medical procedures for
24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) of Korea, and has become increasingly popular in hospitals and clinics across the nation.
Furthermore, in September 2025, Sky Labs launched the
CART BP, a consumer version of its blood pressure monitor now available via its official online store and other e-commerce platforms.
This partnership with the AHA marks a pivotal moment for Sky Labs in its mission to empower healthcare professionals and patients through cutting-edge technology and research-backed evidence, ensuring that innovations in hypertension management continue to progress.
