Gol Airlines Expands Air Travel Connectivity
In a bold move to enhance air travel options for European tourists,
Gol Airlines has announced the expansion of its connectivity throughout
South America by leveraging its extensive network in
Brazil. Beginning this November, travelers will have new routes that link them directly to the captivating Patagonian destinations of
El Calafate and
Ushuaia.
New Seasonal Flights
Gol Airlines will offer a seasonal flight service from
São Paulo/Guarulhos to
El Calafate, the gateway to the breathtaking
Los Glaciares National Park and the famous
Perito Moreno Glacier. Additionally, a connecting flight will take travelers from El Calafate to Ushuaia, often referred to as the 'End of the World' due to its southernmost location in the world. Known for its stunning landscapes and as a primary jumping-off point for Antarctic expeditions, Ushuaia is poised to attract more international visitors thanks to these new direct connections.
Flight Schedule
The new service will operate from
November 3, 2026, to March 27, 2027, every
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Here's a breakdown of the schedule:
- - São Paulo/Guarulhos to El Calafate: 12:10 AM - 6:00 AM
- - El Calafate to Ushuaia: 7:20 AM - 8:40 AM
- - Ushuaia to São Paulo/Guarulhos: 10:00 AM - 3:40 PM
Enhancing Links to Europe
To further strengthen ties between

Travelers can take advantage of the
Gol Stopover program, allowing them to stay in Rio or São Paulo for a period ranging from 24 hours up to three nights without any additional fees. This initiative not only adds convenience but also encourages international travelers to explore Brazil's dynamic urban attractions before their adventure continues.
Gol Airlines has established over
60 code-share and interline agreements, enabling easy connections from various European nations to Brazil and other South American destinations. Travelers can secure their tickets on the Gol website or through local travel agencies.
