We're excited to announce that Yumikо Koganezawa, of Yahho Brewing's Demand and Production Management Department, will be sharing her invaluable experiences. Since joining Yahho Brewing in 2014, Yumikо has worked in various roles including e-commerce, retail sales, and social media marketing. Currently, she is integral in managing demand and production, utilizing her diverse background to oversee product planning, data analysis, and system development. Her focus on teamwork has greatly improved the company's capacity for demand control and has enabled them to break free from reliance on specific individuals.

Funai Lecture: Facing Challenges in SCM

Our second speaker is Yoshizumi Nakano, Executive Officer at Funai Soken SCM Consulting. With a career that began in 1993 in a foreign consumer goods firm, he has since been involved in developing S&OP models and restructuring supply chains. Since joining Funai Soken in 1998, he has led various major projects, including the establishment of their Shanghai branch to bolster Japanese companies entering the Chinese market. Nakano's session will address the factors that hinder reform within SCM and provide strategies for overcoming these obstacles.
