Major Battery Storage Order Received by PowerX

In a landmark venture that strengthens the renewable energy infrastructure in Japan, PowerX, based in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, has secured an order for a substantial number of battery storage systems. The order consists of 102 units of the 'Mega Power 2500' system, designed specifically for grid-scale energy storage. This project is a collective initiative with three major companies: Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., Itochu Corporation, and Tokyo Century Corporation.

The new energy storage facility, planned for construction in Chikuzen Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, is set to commence commercial operations in fiscal year 2027.
