OVER ALLs: Murals for Osaka's Expo
OVER ALLs, an art company creative hub based in Tokyo, has made its mark at the Osaka Kansai Expo with two magnificent murals depicting pivotal characters from the water show titled
Aoi and the Night Rainbow Parade. This project was commissioned by Suntory Holdings, which will showcase its exciting water show during the Expo at its beverage vending area.
Mural Overview
The murals are sizeable at 6.5 meters by 6.5 meters each, created in the Water Plaza section of the Osaka Kansai Expo. The entire painting process took 13 days, with the artists utilizing a mix of paint and spray to realize their vision.
The Essence Behind the Murals
The two murals vividly illustrate characters from the water show, bringing to life the enchanting universe that frames the performance. Unlike the conventional approach where graphic sheets might be printed and affixed to surfaces, OVER ALLs embraced a more authentic method.
