More than 850 participants from over 60 countries engaged in 11 distinct categories, showcasing phygital sports, tech sports, and esports. Other phygital formats, such as Phygital Football and Basketball, captivated audiences and brought new excitement to the event.

One of the standout attractions was the Phygital Drone Racing events, which blended aerial skill with the fervor of traditional sports, resulting in a breathtaking spectacle. Furthermore, the regional debut of the VR-Game HADO Global Invitation introduced virtual competition to Middle Eastern audiences, enhancing the immersive experience and ensuring crowded stadiums. With the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Games, the spotlight now shifts to Astana, Kazakhstan, which will host the Games of the Future 2026 next summer. In preparation, Astana is set to hold the Phygital Contenders tournaments in June, uniting local and international competitors across various disciplines. Phygital International has also announced the opening of bids for cities wishing to host the tournament in 2028, 2029, or 2030 as part of the Games' global expansion.
