Exclusive Pop-Up Event: Yuki Fujisawa at CIBONE CASE
Starting May 2, 2026, CIBONE CASE in Ginza will host a captivating pop-up exhibition featuring the renowned artist Yuki Fujisawa. This event marks the first collaboration between CIBONE and Fujisawa, showcasing her exceptional textile and design label, "YUKI FUJISAWA."
Since its inception in 2012, YUKI FUJISAWA has creatively explored the themes of memory, time, and the passage of materials through her art. She deftly navigates the intersection of clothing, craft, and art with a passion for transforming vintage fabrics into unique artistic expressions. By combining vintage knits, old clothing, and delicate lace with intricate techniques such as foil application, dyeing, and embroidery, Fujisawa breathes new life into materials that carry stories of their pasts.
The pop-up's theme, "Dear/From YUKI FUJISAWA," draws inspiration from the intimate acts of writing letters—echoing the thoughtful hand-crafted nature of her work. Just like a heartfelt letter, her creations are infused with the emotions and experiences she has observed in her daily life. Visitors will find themselves enchanted by her artistic narrative, which interprets the tactile aspects of letters such as postage stamps, cancellation marks, and handwriting, offering a fresh perspective on her products.
Among the highlights at the pop-up are Fujisawa's signature pieces, including her vintage t-shirts and tote bags reimagined through dyeing and foiling techniques into the new art collection labeled “NEW VINTAGE.” A total of 15 exclusive items will be on display, many inspired by the concept of the CIBONE CASE and the overarching theme of the pop-up.
