The filming for the promotional video took place in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, known for its traditional dyeing workshops. While this area is celebrated for creating the most casual yukatas and tenuguis, it is also where dedicated artisans strive to maintain the integrity of their craft. The story behind Japanese traditional crafts often focuses on pricing and prestige. However, Y. & SONS emphasizes that the true value lies in the intentions and effort woven into each piece.

The Royal Alpaca fabric, exclusively made for Y. & SONS, is crafted from 100% Royal Alpaca fibers with no blends involved. The final fabric is a result of fine-tuning conducted at a factory in Peru, balancing dimension and texture perfectly suited for kimono craftsmanship. Additionally, for the first time in this collaboration, customers can order traditional samue outfits.
