Business Architecture Guild® Opens Call for Abstracts
The Business Architecture Guild®, a prominent global community of business architecture professionals, has recently announced the opening of its call for abstracts for the
15th Annual Business Architecture Innovation Summit™. This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place from
March 16-18, 2027 in
Reston, Virginia, and promises participants the option of joining virtually from anywhere in the world.
A Platform for Knowledge Sharing
For over a decade, the Summit has served as a vital platform uniting practitioners, thought leaders, executives, and organizations from diverse sectors. Its core objective is to foster the exchange of insightful success stories, groundbreaking industry advancements, and practical lessons learned from the application of business architecture across various domains. Throughout its evolution, the Summit has adapted to reflect the changing needs of the profession, continuing to provide a forum that showcases real-world applications and aides organizations in overcoming business challenges while driving transformation.
What Is Being Sought?
The Guild is keen to hear from a variety of contributors, including corporations, government bodies, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions, regarding how they leverage business architecture to address actual business issues. The call for submissions invites case studies led by practitioners, executive viewpoints, and promising new practices across diverse topics like:
- - Artificial Intelligence
- - Strategy Execution
- - Customer Experience
- - Risk Management
- - Product Management
- - Data Architecture
- - Software Design
- - Digital Transformation
- - Organizational Change
- - Scaling Enterprise-wide Practices
Practitioners and organizations are particularly encouraged to share compelling narratives that include meaningful outcomes, valuable lessons learned, and innovative applications. The Guild also welcomes submissions on alternative yet relevant topics that spur discourse.
Contributions from Practitioners
John Faulkenberry, a Board Member of the Business Architecture Guild®, emphasized the importance of contributions derived from practitioners. “The richest contributions come from those on the ground, actively involved in solving real business problems. Sharing these experiences not only enhances individual knowledge but propels the profession itself forward,” he stated. The Summit is thus positioned as an exceptional forum for translating experiences into collective knowledge that drives progress in the field.
