Ariake Garden Celebrates Halloween with #AriHaro 2025

From October 10 to 13, and again from October 24 to 26, 2025, Ariake Garden in Koto City, Tokyo, will proudly host its sixth annual Halloween event, #AriHaro 2025. This beloved seasonal festivities promises to deliver laughter, joy, and plenty of engaging activities for families.

As an initiative by Sumitomo Realty & Management, the event aims to spread smiles and ensure community engagement among families, especially in light of the post-pandemic recovery. The very first #AriHaro event was launched in October 2020, born out of a desire to uplift the local community amid the lingering effects of COVID-19.

Event Highlights

This year’s celebrations will introduce a varied lineup of activities suited for children and their families:

1. Children's Sports Day: Specific dates from October 11 to 13 will feature a mini sports day for kids aged 2 to 6, fostering a spirit of friendly competition. Activities include radio gymnastics, chase-the-ball games, and relays spanning 15 meters.
- Location: Ariake Garden Park, Ground Floor
- Entry Fee: 1,000 yen (advance registration required)
- Time: From 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

2. Halloween Kids Land: From October 11 to 13, enjoy giant inflatable play structures designed to give children an exuberant play experience.
- Age Requirement: 3 years and older
- Location: Sports Entertainment Square, Ground Floor
- Entry Fee: 100 yen to 1,000 yen
- Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entrance at 4:30 PM)

3. Trick or Treat Rally: Kids can enjoy a fun treasure hunt throughout the mall. Collect stamps from various points for a special candy reward!
- Date: October 11 to 13, and again on October 25 and 26
- Free Participation: Only for the first 500 children per day, registration required
- Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

4. Workshops: Various creative workshops are scheduled, allowing families to make delightful Halloween-themed crafts.
- Nap Art Workshop: For children under 3 on October 10 and 24 from 10:15 to 4:00 PM.
- Halloween Craft Sessions: Running from October 25 to 26, kids can enjoy candle-making, jewelry crafting, and more! Prices vary.

5. Special Offerings at Shops and Hotel Restaurants:
- Enjoy limited-time Halloween-themed treats at the 2nd-floor paticerie from October 15 to 31.
- Participating hotels will offer Halloween drinks for cosplayers visiting during the event.
