This autumn, the historic Himeji Castle in Hyogo Prefecture will be enveloped in a unique light art experience known as the "Himeji Castle of Light - DANDELION PROJECT Himeji Castle × NAKED, INC." from November 22 to December 11, 2025. This immersive art event promises to present a magical fusion of historical landscapes and contemporary digital art, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Art That Illuminates Prayers

Created by NAKED, INC., led by renowned artist Ryotaro Muramatsu, this event will showcase six distinct interactive art installations that embody the themes of peace and prayer. Each installation invites attendees to actively participate in the artistic expression, transforming their energies into light.

Featured Installations

• - DANDELION PROJECT: A collective art piece created in collaboration with elementary school students from Himeji. This interactive installation celebrates peace through the projection of vibrant, blooming flowers, allowing participants to share their hopes and prayers with the world.
• - Whispering Forest: In this installation, visitors can interact with the surrounding light by blowing softly, sending waves of illumination throughout a digital forest scene. Lights will respond to the participants’ actions, creating a living tapestry of light that resembles the rhythms of nature.
• - Light Pulse: This enthralling display synchronizes sound and light to capture the essence of Himeji Castle's rich history. Attendees will feel a deep connection with the castle as their presence influences the beats of the light.

• - Wagasa Cafe Lounge: A serene lounge experience set amidst traditional Japanese umbrellas, offering a tranquil space for visitors to relax and admire Himeji Castle while enjoying the artworks.
