As the current Director of the Transplant Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Siskind focuses on addressing complex medical issues while enhancing the quality of life for his patients through advanced surgical practices. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is also certified by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. His areas of specialization include organ transplantation, minimally invasive nephrectomies, dialysis access surgery, and complex general surgeries.

Dr. Siskind's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medical Studies and English from Columbia University, and he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2009.

Following his education, he completed a General Surgery Residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital and later pursued a Transplant Surgery Fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, which he completed in 2016. Further enhancing his management skills, he participated in the distinguished Transplant Leadership Development Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business.

Before his tenure at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital starting in 2022, Dr. Siskind held various prominent positions in transplant surgery at several top medical centers, including Inova Fairfax Medical Center and the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. His research contributions include advancements in transplant cell-free DNA technologies, showcasing his dedication to innovation in the field.

In addition to his clinical achievements, Dr. Siskind has contributed extensively to medical literature, having authored more than 25 scientific papers and book chapters. He is active in national ethics and peer support committees, a testament to his leadership in the transplant community. His professional accomplishments have garnered several accolades, including the prestigious American Society of Transplant Surgeons Young Investigator Award and the Richard Strauss Memorial Award for Clinical Surgical Research Excellence.
