Vantage Foundation Joins Forces with Fresh Start to Benefit Edinburgh's Communities

On November 29, 2024, the Vantage Foundation proudly announced its partnership with Fresh Start, a well-established charity based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This collaboration aims to assist individuals experiencing homelessness by providing essential goods and services necessary for creating stable living conditions.

Founded in 1999, Fresh Start's purpose has been consistent: to combat issues related to homelessness, deprivation, and poverty within its community. By adopting a person-centered approach, the organization initially focused on distributing starter packs filled with essential household items, thereby aiding people in transitioning to their new homes.

Currently, Fresh Start distributes more than 14,000 starter packs each year, positively impacting over 2,000 lives. Beyond its core mission, the charity has expanded its services based on community needs, which includes offering kitchen appliances, cooking classes, and home painting and decorating assistance. This holistic approach not only provides physical items but also empowers individuals through skill development.
