Closing Gaps with IBEX PLUS
The IBEX PLUS wiring solution is engineered to meet persistent challenges faced in the medium-capacity sector. Its design incorporates a flexible aluminum cable which is 97% lighter than traditional copper alternatives, promoting a significant decrease in capital expenditures – by up to 27%. This innovative solution is compatible with 2000V architectures, aligning perfectly with future industry demands.
Moreover, IBEX PLUS features hybrid interface options combining copper and aluminum, delivering unparalleled design flexibility while optimizing both material usage and logistics. This ingenious blend of materials enhances the overall adaptability of the system, allowing for smoother implementations across various solar projects.
New LYNX: Powering Future-Ready Designs
Accompanying the IBEX PLUS is the new LYNX, designed for projects scaling to higher current ratings with a trunk capacity of up to 1250 MCM (791A). A notable improvement over conventional 500 MCM setups, the LYNX achieves a 34% reduction in voltage drop. This advancement facilitates extended string runs and optimized layout designs, which not only streamline installation processes but also lower potential failure points during operation and maintenance.
