Can-Am Introduces the All-New 2026 Traxter HD11
Can-Am, a renowned brand under BRP Inc., is revolutionizing the utility-recreational side-by-side vehicle sector with the launch of the all-new 2026 Can-Am Traxter HD11. Known for its robust performance and ability to balance work and play, the Traxter is a favorite among farmers, ranchers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. This latest model comes with a complete redesign, enhancing its already impressive reputation for versatility and reliability.
A Powerful Engine at Its Core
At the heart of the new Traxter lies a cutting-edge Rotax ACE three-cylinder engine. This 999cc powerhouse produces 95 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque, ensuring that it can handle even the toughest tasks with ease. The new model also features a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and a pDrive primary clutch, which enhances power delivery to the ground while improving low-speed performance.
For 2026, the Traxter introduces three distinct driving modes: Normal, Work, and Sport. These options allow drivers to tailor their vehicle’s performance to specific tasks, whether it’s towing heavy loads or conquering challenging terrain. A new air intake system promotes airflow, boosting engine performance, while an upgraded cooling system ensures optimal temperature management.
Exceptional Towing and Payload Capabilities
The Traxter continues to lead in its category with best-in-class payload, towing, and load-carrying capacity. A larger 45-liter fuel tank now allows operators to extend their time on both work sites and trails.
Advanced Suspension and Chassis Design
To complement its robust powertrain, the 2026 Traxter features an impressive suspension system. With a new suspension geometry and significantly larger double arched arms, this vehicle boasts enhanced stability and more precise handling. The chassis has been reinforced to withstand the rigors of both work and adventure, offering a robust framework equipped with an improved ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) design.
Additionally, this model showcases an impressive suspension travel of 30.5 cm at both the front and rear and boasts a ground clearance of 35.6 cm, ensuring superior performance on rough terrains. The steering radius has also been reduced for easier maneuverability.
Enhanced Driver Experience
The 2026 Traxter is designed with the driver’s comfort in mind. It features the largest cabin in its segment, providing eight percent more legroom than its closest competitor. A tilt steering wheel and ergonomically designed seating enhance entry, exit, comfort, and support during longer rides.
Customers can choose from over 200 available accessories to personalize their Traxter, whether for work or play. A new electrical system that produces 1,700 watts, double the previous generation’s power, makes it easier to equip the Traxter with electronics and tools.
New LED headlights illuminate the path while increasing visibility by 45 percent compared to the previous model, enhancing safety during low-light conditions. The rear LED lights now include reverse lights, providing additional convenience when backing up.
Easy Maintenance and Long Intervals
BRP has engineered the Traxter with accessibility in mind, offering one of the longest service intervals in its class and some of the lowest maintenance costs. This means less downtime for repairs and more time enjoying trails or accomplishing work tasks.
Availability and Models
The 2026 Traxter HD11 is available in two configurations: Traxter XU HD11 and Traxter MAX XU HD11, both equipped with ABS. For more information on the Can-Am Traxter lineup, visit
