Celebrate 'MEGURI' with Maiko Miyasaka at Kinetics

Kinetics, a leading shop in street culture, is excited to host an exclusive art exhibition featuring the talented pro surfer and artist, Maiko Miyasaka. This event, titled POLER PRESENTS Maiko Miyasaka “MEGURI” EXHIBITION, will take place from June 20 (Friday) to June 29 (Sunday) in Harajuku, supported by the innovative outdoor brand, POLeR.

The exhibition revolves around the theme of “important moments,” symbolized by the Japanese term 巡り (meguri). In a world where everyday life can sometimes cause us to overlook significant instances, Miyasaka's artwork invites viewers to focus on the present. The pieces on display draw from her experiences in surfing and travel, beautifully encapsulating the feelings evoked during those unforgettable moments when we meet loved ones or witness breathtaking landscapes.

In addition to showcasing her artwork, the exhibition will feature an exclusive POLeR x Maiko Miyasaka collaboration collection, offering attendees a chance to purchase unique items. This collection includes a variety of products such as T-shirts, caps, socks, and pouches, all designed to reflect the synergy between Miyasaka's artistry and the adventurous spirit of POLeR.

The grand opening of the exhibition on June 20 will include a reception party from 7 PM to 9 PM on the B1 floor of Kinetics. The reception is open to everyone, providing a wonderful opportunity to engage with the art and the artist herself. Attendees can enjoy free drinks, but as supplies are limited, it is advisable to arrive early to partake in this exciting celebration.
